At the heart of effective water governance are empowered and well-equipped Water Resources Users’ Associations (WRUAs). KeNAWRUA invests in strengthening WRUA capacity through structured training, mentorship, and technical assistance. We deliver tailored programs on governance, leadership, financial management, and integrated water resource planning.
By enhancing their organizational capabilities, WRUAs become more effective in mobilizing communities, implementing sub-catchment management plans (SCMPs), and participating in stakeholder dialogues. Our goal is to ensure each WRUA is not just a local water manager, but a strong advocate and agent of change within its catchment.
