Join KeNAWRUA Membership

Strengthen the Voice of Water Users Across Kenya

At Kenawrua, membership is open to all Water Resources User Associations (WRUAs) duly registered with the Attorney General and the Water Resources Authority (WRA) within the Republic of Kenya. Our members form the backbone of the Association, united by the common goal of promoting sustainable water resource management.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for membership, a WRUA must:

  • Hold valid Certificates of Registration issued by both the Registrar of Societies and the Water Resources Authority.
  • Provide a Letter of Recommendation from the Water Resources Authority.
  • Have up-to-date returns filed with the Registrar of Societies and the Kenya Revenue Authority.
  • Pay a registration fee of Kshs. 2,500 and an annual subscription fee of Kshs. 1,000, payable on or before 31st June of each financial year.

  • Step 3: Submit via email (info@kenawrua.org) or at your regional KeNAWRUA office.
  • Step 4: We will review your application and confirm your membership within 14 working days.
